19 December 2021 – 31 December 2021 – The recent devastating floods across six states in Malaysia have left victims of the floods affected and displaced. QSR Brands alongside KFC’s CSR arm, Add Hope Malaysia and Pizza Hut were quick to respond to the flood crisis in Malaysia to provide food assistance and assist with post-flood clean-up.

From 19 December 2021 up until 31 December 2021, a total of more than RM57,000 worth of KFC and Pizza Hut meals were distributed to over 5,860 flood victims. To ensure timely and effective supports were provided to flood victims, QSR Brands works hand-in-hand with multiple NGOs who are active in the flood relief activities like Malaysian Red Crescent, Malaysian Relief Agency, and My Hope Hero. Whilst there, our staff helps the communities clean up affected houses and community homes.

Due to the floods, several KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants were experiencing temporary disruption to the logistics which caused some of the raw materials to be low in stock. Nonetheless, QSR Brands will continue with the flood relief efforts and extending our support to wider affected locations.
