KUALA LUMPUR, 16 DECEMBER 2020 – KFC Malaysia is banding together with Grab to lend support to local entertainers who have experienced losses to their livelihoods as a result of the pandemic. #LIVEKATRUMAH is a twice-a-week virtual concert series that Malaysians can enjoy anywhere, across the country, featuring a line-up of talented local artistes and bands, ranging from Pop, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and Rock performances to comedians and magicians.
These twice weekly live performances will run from 22 December 2020 to 21 January 2021. Malaysians will be treated to headliners, including Abubakarxli, The Frankie Sixes, Russell Curtis, Nisa Addina, Born Heroes Band, Elvira Arul, Nadir and more!
“KFC is proud to be part of this thoughtful and original initiative by Grab. The pandemic has impacted many lives and some more than others; not least of all the people who bring music and entertainment to our lives. #LiveKatRumah offers a new platform and opportunity for our local talented artistes to continue their trade. At the same time, it’s a new way for all to treat yourselves to live performances and good food in the comfort of your homes. As a brand inspired by Malaysians, we hope #LiveKatRumah will kick off a way forward for the benefit of all,” said Angelina Villanueva, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Malaysia.
Malaysians can purchase the #LIVEKATRUMAH eTicket+Meal Sets in their Grab app. Each set comes with 1 admission ticket (worth RM5) and a choice of KFC combo meals.
