Kuala Lumpur, 1 April 2020 – QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd (‘QSR Brands’), the leading food chain brand that operates KFC and Pizza Hut Malaysia has appointed Mr Nehchal Khanna as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 1st April 2020

Nehchal was appointed to the Board of QSR Brands in March 2020 and assumed the additional positions  of Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director beginning April 2020.

He was Managing Director in the Singapore office of Wall Street firm Morgan Stanley between 2010 and 2016. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Nehchal was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in Singapore where he was Head of Investment Banking for Malaysia and Indonesia. Before joining QSR Brands in 2020, he was corporate advisor to Johor Corporation.

Over the course of his Investment Banking career, he has successfully completed some of the largest transactions in Asia, including Petronas Chemicals USD 4.8 BN IPO and Felda Global Ventures USD 3.3 BN IPO (both as Global Coordinator).

He has worked on several capital markets mandates including Khazanah Nasional, Axiata, Sime Darby, as well as other notable corporates within Southeast Asia. Nehchal has advised large corporate clients across Southeast Asia on multibillion dollar mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
