PETALING JAYA, 06 JANUARY 2025 – KFC Malaysia is excited to announce the introduction of two innovative products in time for the Chinese New Year celebrations: the Golden Crispy Mantou Series and Chewy Cheese Balls in new flavours. These limited-time offers will be available from 6th January 2025, while stocks last.
The Zinger Mantou elevates KFC’s burger range by substituting the traditional burger bun with a Crispy Fried Mantou, providing a distinctive eating experience. This product features a succulent Zinger fillet topped with rich tomato egg gravy and fresh lettuce, all encased within the light, fluffy texture of mantou. The KFC Golden Mantou Series also includes the Golden Mini Mantou, which are bite-sized mantou buns paired excellently with fried chicken, serving as ideal mini treats for dipping into the savoury and silky tomato egg gravy.
Pricing for the Golden Crispy Mantou series is available in several options: a 2-PC COMBO for RM19.99, which includes two pieces of chicken; a 3-PC COMBO for RM25.99, which includes three pieces of chicken; and a BOX MEAL for RM20.99, consisting of one piece of chicken, Zinger Mantou, one coleslaw, and a drink. The Zinger Mantou A La Carte is priced at RM15.99, while the Mini Mantou A La Carte is available for RM2.99.
Additionally, KFC is reintroducing its iconic Chewy Cheese Balls, now enhanced with vibrant new flavours to delight the palate. This product caters to both fans of cheesy classics and those craving bold, adventurous flavours.
Now offered in four enticing flavours: Original Cheese, Truffle, Strawberry, and Korean Chilli. Each cheese ball features a crunchy exterior with a gooey, stretchy cheese interior, making them an enjoyable snack perfect for sharing during festive gatherings. The Original variety presents a delightful crusted ball filled with moist mozzarella cheese, whereas the Truffle flavour adds a gourmet touch with earthy truffle notes combined with the mild saltiness of mozzarella. For spice enthusiasts, the Korean Chilli Chewy Cheese offers mozzarella wrapped in a flavourful coating that balances spicy heat with sweet, savoury, and tangy notes. Lastly, the Strawberry Chewy Cheese provides a unique fusion of sweet and savoury, where the fruity burst of strawberry complements the rich mozzarella. All these flavours deliver a truly enjoyable experience with every bite.
Pricing for Chewy Cheese Balls includes an A La Carte option at RM12.99 for eight pieces or, as an Add-On to Any Bucket Combo for RM10.99 for eight pieces.
To celebrate this launch, KFC Malaysia is hosting the Kentucky Fried Charms Pop-Up Event from January 9 to 12, 2025, at LG 2 @ Orange Central, Sunway Pyramid, from 10 AM to 10 PM, featuring various engaging activities.
Customers can purchase limited-edition Zinger Mantou Plush Charms for RM23.88 each, which includes a 20% discount voucher for the Zinger Mantou. Additionally, customers who buy Chewy Cheese Balls can spin for a fortune ball (gashapon), each containing a special 2025 fortune and a free voucher. The Zinger Mantou and Chewy Cheese Balls will also be available directly at the event.
