PENANG, 28 August 2018 – Residents in the sprawling at Botanica.CT Township in Balik Pulau will have more reason to cheer as popular fast food restaurant KFC will be opening its doors for business by the fourth quarter of 2019.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between MTT Properties & Development Sdn Bhd (MTT Properties), a subsidiary of MTT Group of Companies and QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd (QSR Brands), through its wholly owned subsidiary company, QSR Stores Sdn Bhd (QSR Stores) to provide KFC Drive-Thru restaurant service.

Dato’ Seri Kenny Ong emphasized that this strategic collaboration between MTT Properties and QSR Brands marks another milestone to the development of Botanica.CT’s commercial parcel. According to Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azahari, the strategic partnership offers an excellent opportunity for QSR Brands to expand its business and restaurant services. He added that as a market leader in Malaysia’s quick service restaurants industry, it aims to be easily accessible to consumers.
