With rich tomato pizza sauce, juicy diced pineapples, onions, herbs and gooey mozzarella cheese topped over the ultimate crust of a succulent KFC Hot and spicy Chicken fillet, it is the perfect ’pizza’ that will leave no crust behind.

Bukit Mertajam, 12 November 2017 – In an effort to ease the burden of their employees, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd (QSR Brands), the region’s largest quick service restaurant operator, with over 1,100 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Malaysia has contributed close to RM 100,000 to their employees that were affected by the Penang  flood crisis.

87 employees were affected by the recent flood crisis. Each affected employee received RM 1,000 in cash as well as food supplies worth RM 100. The contribution by QSR Brands is in line with its commitment to its employees’ wellbeing and safety.

QSR Brands’ Managing Director Datuk Mohamed Azahari Kamil who visited employees and their families to offer his support and to hand over the contribution said, “We truly emphatise with the community in Penang and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the floods. Of course, our employees’ welfare is our greatest concern and we will continue to look out for them at times of crisis and to assist in any way possible,” said Datuk Azahari.

Meanwhile, Johor Corporation, the parent company of QSR Brands, has deployed its voluntary team to help and assists flood victims in Penang through its relief mission ‘JCorp Prihatin Pulau Pinang’. The team, Briged Waqaf, were involved at 18 flood relief centres in three districts in Penang.

Reintroducing the enjoyable mealtime, now with extra cheese

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 November 2017 – Pizza Hut, the leading pizza chain in Malaysia,announces the comeback of an all-time-favourite Chicken Cheesy Bites pizza, adding to the mix of a new generation dining experience – one that encourages people to have fun, interact and spark interactions with one another during mealtime.

This limited-edition pizza will be available nationwide between October to December 2017.

This time, Chicken Cheesy Bites pizza continues to woo diners with its generous eighteen bites full of oozing cheddar and mozzarella cheese, topped with delicious chicken pepperoni, chicken meatballs and shredded chicken on a bed of tomato salsa sauce and extra creamy cheese.

With the tagline, “More Cheese, More Ways to Eat, More Fun”, the Chicken Cheesy Bites pizza is not only a mouthwatering feast for the family but also a playful invitation for all family members to let loose, have fun and connect with each other to enjoy the meal together. From popping the bites to sticking them to your fingers, there are no rules on how to eat it – the only rule is to have fun!

Ensuring double the cheese, for double the fun, Cheesy Dip will be available on 15 November onwards.

The new Chicken Cheesy Bites pizza can be purchased via ala carte orders at RM35.50 for a regular size while combo options are also available through delivery, take-away or dine-in experience.

Pizza Hut generously offers two combos for two and four people dining in, priced reasonably at RM37.90 and RM69.90 respectively. Chicken Cheesy Bites Combo for two people includes a regular-sized Chicken Cheesy Bites pizza, two cream of mushroom soups, two drinks and an appetiser, while Chicken Cheesy Bites Combo, fora group of four can enjoy an addition of one regular pan/hand-stretched favourite pizza that comes with four cream of mushroom soups, four drinks, four ice creams and 2 appetisers.

In this latest campaign, the KFC Kaki returns with a bigger bang with the campaign promise of ‘KFC 2 Kaki Lagi Best’. For a limited time only, KFC menu favourites are paired in limited time combos to offer exclusive value to customers on KFC Delivery online. KFC Delivery customers will also receive ‘Kaki Points’ for their online purchases during the campaign period, which can be used to redeem KFC Delivery discount vouchers or to bid for exclusive merchandise.

KUALA LUMPUR, 2 NOVEMBER 2017 – For the 3rd year running, KFC Malaysia came up tops in the prestigious Putra Brand Awards under the “Restaurant & Fast Food” category. The coveted gold award affirms KFC’s position as a number one brand and serves as an acknowledgement of consumer confidence and endorsement.

Popularly known as the People’s Choice Awards, The Putra Brand Awards gala held at the Majestic hotel on 2 November, presented a total of 39 gold awards, 40 silver awards, 51 bronze awards to Malaysia’s favourite brands across 24 categories and also five special award categories.

“We are grateful to be amongst the people’s preferred brands, and honoured to win the Gold award for 3 years in a row. Winning the hearts of customers in a highly competitive industry is not an easy feat. While our employees are the backbone of our organisation, our customers are the lifeblood of our business.
